MUSCLE MILK® Brand Hosts Nationwide Three-Point Challenge

Benicia, Calif. – CytoSport, Inc., one of the largest sports nutrition companies in the United States and parent company to the MUSCLE MILK® brand, launched the MUSCLE MILK® Beat30 Challenge today featuring a nationwide three-point contest in four major markets around the country.

The top two winners from each market will earn a trip to the Bay Area for an exclusive basketball shooting experience with MUSCLE MILK® brand athlete Stephen Curry, who is touted as one of the best shooting guards in the league.

Regional qualifying events will take place in New York City, Los Angeles, the Bay Area and Chicago. Each participant will have one minute on the clock to shoot 25 basketballs around the arc, five of which are money balls. Each made basket is worth one point, money balls score two. The two participants with the highest score from each qualifier will earn a trip to the Bay Area to compete against each other in the final three-point shoot-out.

Curry will host the final competition in his team’s hometown of Oakland where the winner will receive a personal shooting clinic with the All-Star. All qualifying events and the finals are open to the public.

New York City: Saturday, Feb. 7 from 1-4 p.m. (Basketball City; 299 South Street in NYC)
Los Angeles: Saturday, Feb. 21 from 12-3 p.m. (Santa Monica High School; 601 Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica)
Bay Area: Saturday, Feb. 28 from 1-4 p.m. (Jamtown; 31 4th Street in Oakland)
Chicago: Saturday, March 7 from 5-8 p.m. (Quest Multisport; 2641 West Harrison in Chicago)
FINALS: Sunday, March 15 from 2-4 p.m. (Jamtown; 31 4th Street in Oakland)
