New York State of Mind.
Noah Syndergaard is one of the top young pitchers in the big leagues. The Texan has made a name for himself in New York, earning a starting position in the rotation for a team that is no stranger to the postseason. While some might assume him to be quiet and reserved, he uses his towering figure to intimidate batters and lets his strikeouts do the talking.
Off the field, he’s known for his blonde hair and “Thor” persona. On the mound, he’s a force – easily throwing down the hammer with nearly 100 MPH pitches and averaging more than a strikeout per inning. He throws a lightning fastball and a mean curve, and the All-Star is just finding his zone.
